Standing atop the Sydney Harbour Bridge – one of the nation's most loved tourist attractions along with the Sydney Opera House and Uluru – BridgeClimb owner David Hammon is relieved to see the view hasn't changed.

"It's a few months since I've been up here," he says as a fresh winter wind rips through the "Coathanger", the largest steel arch bridge in the world, with a span of 504 metres.
