This Friday should have been one of the greatest days of my life, personally and professionally.

Almost eight years after helping the Tokyo 2020 team to win the right to host the Olympic and Paralympic Games, I should have been in the magnificent new $1.86 billion Olympic Stadium, watching the opening ceremony.
