Flooding of Saudi money into tennis is ‘inevitable’, warns Wozniacki
Caroline Wozniacki, once the top women’s player in the world, believes tennis must do its best to improve life for oppressed people in Saudi Arabia as it was “inevitable” the kingdom would pump cash into the sport.
The Danish star is the second active player to address Rafael Nadal’s move to become an ambassador for the Saudi Tennis Federation, after the top-rated Iga Swiatek warned that administrators must be prepared for a backlash.
