The NRL’s South Sydney Rabbitohs claims its home ground in the city’s west lacks atmosphere and hurts its ability to make money, in a letter to the NSW government proposing a move to inner-city Allianz Stadium.
The Rabbitohs play nine matches per season at Accor Stadium under a contract that runs until the end of the decade, but want to have their home ground moved to the newly built stadium at Moore Park in the eastern suburbs.
