Ian Botham questions choice of Pat Cummins as Aussie cricket captain

Sir Ian Botham has weighed into Australian cricket’s leadership crisis, warning he is not convinced Pat Cummins can captain the team while he leads the bowling attack, ahead of the Ashes series kicking off in Brisbane next week.

Botham predicts that if Perth loses the fifth Test and the series ends up with two pink ball Tests, that “gives England a very good opportunity of doing extremely well”.
