Australian table tennis veteran Jian Fang Lay has marched into the third round of the women’s tournament at the Tokyo Olympics.

Lay upset Poland’s 28th seed Li Qian in a six-game struggle on Monday, winning 11-7, 11-6, 5-11, 10-12, 11-4, 11-4.
