Wesfarmers boss says higher inflation is an opportunity
Wesfarmers boss Rob Scott says he is confident in the outlook for household spending and called higher inflation an opportunity for the Western Australia-based conglomerate, which owns retailers Bunnings and Kmart.
He told the Macquarie Australia Conference in Sydney on Tuesday that its retail divisions were well-equipped to manage inflationary pressures and saw this as a chance to profitably grow market share as consumers focused more on value.
