The chief executive of plant-based 'meat' group v2food says the company has already hit year-end sales targets after just three weeks of being stocked in Woolworths supermarkets, as it prepares to accelerate growth with a $77 million fundraising.

Singaporean state-backed group Temasek is among the new investors along with Chinese food distributor Esenagro and Shanghai-based tech investor China Renaissance, who will now sit alongside cornerstone investors Rich Lister Jack Cowin's Competitive Foods and a CSIRO investment arm.
