Winners and losers are emerging in Australia’s $60 billion online retail sector as Amazon takes share and new players with deep pockets enter the market.

When Amazon launched in Australia in December 2017, domestic brick-and-mortar, omnichannel and pure-play online retailers alike were judged at risk of losing sales and ceding market share.
