A beer company with large shareholders including Penrith Panthers National Rugby League star Nathan Cleary and two UFC fighters is embarking on its next leg of growth with a new brewery set to open in late November and a distribution deal struck with Coles Group in NSW.

Drink West, established three years ago, has been inundated with extra orders this week with pubs and retail venues anticipating heavier-than-usual demand with two NRL teams from western Sydney in the NRL Grand Final on Sunday, as Penrith battle the Parramatta Eels.
