Myer executive chairwoman Olivia Wirth has made sweeping changes to her leadership team ahead of the department store’s transformation into the operator of a portfolio of brands from Just Jeans to Portmans.
Having been appointed to the top job a year ago, the former Qantas Loyalty chief executive has replaced Myer’s chief financial officer and recruited Kathy Karabatsas to step in for Matt Jackman, who is leaving the company after eight years. Karabatsas was a former chief financial officer of rival David Jones and spent more than 14 years at Lion Dairy & Drinks.
