Mecca Brands revenues up 25pc to $1.2b but profits stay flat

Mecca Brands, Australia’s largest cosmetics retailer, which has ambitions to build the world’s most beloved beauty destination, has reported a 25 per cent rise in revenues to $1.2 billion.

However, the strong revenue increase for the calendar year 2023 was offset by expenses growing by a similar percentage, which resulted in Mecca reporting only a 3.2 per cent increase in profit to $27.9 million.
