Maggie Beer Holdings reinforces deliveries after Aust Post delays

Gourmet food producer Maggie Beer Holdings has been forced to bring in extra delivery services in each state to prevent backlogs and delays for its online channel and a $40 million hamper business, as its main provider Australia Post battles to keep up.

Maggie Beer Holdings chief executive Chantale Millard said online sales were up 84 per cent in the three months to September 30 across the business compared with a year ago and the Hampers & Gifts Australia business, bought in May, was producing strong growth in its own right.
