Gen Z spending gives KFC operator Collins Foods hope

Gen Z customers have been spending more at KFC in the past two months, says Collins Foods, which operates hundreds of the fried chicken outlets, in a sign that consumer sentiment is improving.

Sales at the company’s KFC stores in Australia, which are popular with teenagers and young adults, were up 4.9 per cent from late April until late June compared with the same period a year ago.
