Cettire founder Dean Mintz will sustain sharp promotions to attract shoppers in the busiest spending months of the retail calendar amid weak trading conditions that have crippled margins at the world’s luxury goods retailers.

Shareholders heard in a virtual annual general meeting that elevated inventory levels combined with softening demand translated to “very aggressive promotions” which have persisted into the new season.
