PricewaterhouseCoopers has exported its complex problem-solving expertise to Europe in a move that could lead to The Difference consulting division, acquired five years ago, increase its headcount by 30 per cent over the next four years.

It comes as strategy consultants report a resurgence in demand for their services. Outfits like Bain, Boston Consulting Group and McKinsey are busy trying to get enough people.
