‘Untenable’: MinterEllison boss under pressure to resign

The head of Australia’s largest law firm is under pressure to resign after sending an email to staff that criticised a senior partner acting for Attorney-General Christian Porter.
MinterEllison chief executive Annette Kimmitt wrote to all the firm’s employees on Wednesday saying that defamation lawyer Peter Bartlett had not advised the firm before taking a brief from Mr Porter.
