Professional services firm KPMG asked graduate job applicants this year if they have an “intersex variation”, have had a “gender-diverse experience” and what their sexuality is.
The non-compulsory questions were posed to help the company understand the composition of job applicants and not to influence who was hired, a KPMG spokesperson said.
