Gilbert + Tobin founder promises ‘space’ for new leaders

Top-tier commercial law firm Gilbert + Tobin has settled on its new leadership team, with corporate partner Tim Gordon joining chief operating officer Sam Nickless to take over the day-to-day running of the firm from founder Danny Gilbert.

Staff were told of the changes at midday on Thursday. Mr Nickless will become chief executive and Mr Gordon executive partner from July 1 – when Mr Gilbert will “transition” from managing partner to chairman.
