Briggs locked in to replace Kimmitt as Minters CEO

Australia’s largest law firm, MinterEllison, has chosen property law partner Virginia Briggs to replace Annette Kimmitt as the firm’s chief executive and managing partner.

Ms Briggs has been acting CEO since Ms Kimmitt left the firm in March in the wake of an email she sent to staff about the firm giving defamation advice to Attorney-General Christian Porter.
