Why miners are alarmed by Labor’s ‘nature-positive’ agenda

Jennifer HewettColumnistThe term “nature positive” is a naturally appealing concept. It’s increasingly used to indicate the government’s intention to improve Australia’s natural environment, including regeneration of species and ecosystems.
But the government is struggling with its plans to push a “nature-positive” agenda by amending the more clumsily named Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act this year.
