The influential governance adviser to industry superannuation funds has urged its clients to vote against Mineral Resource’s remuneration plan over what it says is a lack of integrity, poor disclosure and governance failures.

The Australian Council of Superannuation Investors said it was particularly interested to hear what directors knew of a property part-owned by managing director Chris Ellison, a stake which was only revealed by The Australian Financial Review last week.
