Mineral Resources confirmed that managing director Chris Ellison will depart the miner and claimed it found no further corporate governance failures since its damaging report last November set the clock ticking on Mr Ellison’s exit.
MinRes imposed millions in penalties on the billionaire for his related party dealings and participation in an offshore tax scheme that caused “significant reputational impact” to the miner, as it described at the time.
