American mining billionaire Robert Friedland’s Ivanhoe Atlantic has urged Washington to add high-grade iron ore to the US list of critical minerals to secure a supply for the manufacture of military hardware.
Bronwyn Barnes, president and chief executive of the ASX hopeful, said it was clear the Trump administration was focused on increasing its defence capability, which was driving the critical minerals supply list.
