The head of Fortescue’s hydrogen division is among the departures from the resources giant as it unwinds some of its high-profile green energy projects to focus on the production of iron ore without the need for coking coal.
Perth-based Cameron Smith will leave his role as chief executive of Fortescue Hydrogen Systems after less than two years in the job. Smith remains at the company, but has yet to be given a new position.
