Forrest sees red over Ellison’s $3b iron ore project
Andrew Forrest has set the scene for another bitter battle with fellow billionaire Chris Ellison by warning the stream of giant road train movements associated with the $3 billion Onslow Iron project could have a detrimental impact on cattle on his beloved Minderoo Station.
Dr Forrest’s Harvest Road agriculture business, US energy giant Chevron and Japanese heavyweight Mitsui have emerged as potential stumbling blocks to the iron ore project backed by Mr Ellison’s Mineral Resources and China’s biggest steelmaker.
