Andrew Forrest has signed a deal on hydropower with the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), as he tours some of the world's most dangerous countries seeking investment and philanthropic opportunities.
Mr Forrest and a team from his Fortescue Metals Group were in Africa last week and visited the DRC and Ethiopia for talks on investment opportunities that the mining billionaire has said can help countries “build Fortescues with their own populations”.
