London | Glencore CEO Ivan Glasenberg excoriated mining companies that sell or spin-off their thermal coal assets, saying they were ducking their responsibility to cut carbon emissions.

But Mr Glasenberg also admitted to a Financial Times conference in London that he would not rule out a Glencore demerger if investors demanded it.
