AustralianSuper sells down MinRes stake as board reels from scandal

AustralianSuper has sold shares of Mineral Resources, the West Australian lithium and iron ore miner battling a tax evasion scandal linked to its talismanic founder Chris Ellison, and is assessing the future of its residual stake.

The company’s share price has plummeted 25.6 per cent in the week since allegations that its billionaire CEO Mr Ellison ran a tax evasion racket from the British Virgin Islands were revealed by AFR Weekend.
