Antony Catalano made millions from Fairfax Media, and now the extent of his personal bet on one of its former businesses, along with that of his friend and business partner Alex Waislitz, has been revealed.

On Monday, Mr Waislitz's ASX-listed Thorney Opportunities unveiled the new ownership structure for Australian Community Media following its $125 million sale by Nine, owner of The Australian Financial Review.
