It was originally called Desert King, but the name was changed at the last minute. No matter, the Australian neo-western Netflix series Territory has reigned over the local streaming charts and placed among the world’s most popular shows since its launch late last month.
Filmed and set in the Northern Territory, the six-episode series follows the twists and turns of the dysfunctional Lawson family, which has owned the world’s largest cattle station for generations.
