Suburban newspaper in printing row with Stokes

A Perth suburban newspaper publisher has accused Kerry Stokes’ Seven West Media of trying to strong-arm it into inking a lock-in printing contract and was forced to cancel an edition for the first time in 35 years.

The Fremantle Herald’s weekly newspaper was replaced by sheets of plain paper on Friday with just one story that detailed a five-day stoush that left it without a normal print edition.
