Singleton, Wilson at odds over Macquarie deal

Investment veteran Geoff Wilson is pushing ahead with plans to leverage a better takeover price for radio broadcaster Macquarie Media, after key investor John Singleton publicly backed a buyout offer.
It sets up a last-ditch stand with Nine Entertainment, which owns The Australian Financial Review, offering $1.46 a share in cash to mop up its holding in Macquarie.
