Kayo rebounds from shutdown exodus to pass 600,000 subscribers

Foxtel chief executive Patrick Delany says the pay television business has started its COVID-19 recovery, with sport subscribers across its broadcast and streaming platforms at a record high.

Mr Delany revealed Foxtel's sports streaming service Kayo had grown to more than 600,000 paying subscribers, up from 542,000 on August 4, and picking up from 331,000 in May after a number of customers dropped the service amid the shutdown of Australia's major sporting competitions.
