HT&E snaps up radio company to capitalise on growing regional market
Here, There & Everywhere is getting in on the media consolidation action, announcing a binding agreement to acquire regional radio network Grant Broadcasters for $307.5 million.
Under the deal, HT&E’s metro radio business, Australian Radio Network, which runs the likes of KIISFM and the Pure Gold Network, will pay $307.5 million for the regional company, with 77.5 per cent in cash and the remaining 22.5 per cent in new ordinary HT&E (HT1) shares.
