Former News Corp and Foxtel chief executive Peter Tonagh has been appointed to the board of the ABC as a non-executive director.
Mr Tonagh was appointed by the Morrison government alongside the former managing director of Channel 7 Perth, Mario D’Orazio, and Fiona Balfour. They will start their five-year appointments immediately.
