Former Foxtel chief executive Peter Tonagh to join Nine board

Former News Corp Australia and Foxtel chief executive Peter Tonagh will become a Nine Entertainment director as part of an overhaul of the publishing and broadcast group’s board and management.

Mr Tonagh has had a long association with News Corp, the media conglomerate controlled by the billionaire Murdoch family, having joined Foxtel as chief financial officer in 2004. He left the broadcaster in 2018 after its merger with Fox Sports, and was succeeded by Patrick Delaney.
