AFR wins top journalism awards
The Australian Financial Review’s scoop coverage of the PwC tax scandal has won another of the country’s most prestigious journalism awards, and a second reporting team was also honoured for breaking the news of the breakup of billionaire couple Andrew and Nicola Forrest and its likely impact on Fortescue Metals Group.
Veteran investigative journalist Neil Chenoweth and the Financial Review’s professional services editor Edmund Tadros won the 2023 Graham Perkin Australian Journalist of the Year Award, part of the Melbourne Press Club’s Quill Awards, for a series of articles that cracked the PwC story.
