The competition watchdog’s investigation of News Corporation-controlled REA Group was an excellent opportunity for Domain to show it can be a reasonable rival platform, the chief executive of CoStar, the real estate listing group’s new American owner, has told his investors.
Andy Florance said he expected to take control of Domain from Nine Entertainment, who acquired the property website in a takeover of Fairfax Media in 2018, a year after it had been listed on the ASX.
