Toilet and tap maker GWA has taken the extraordinary step of chartering ships to import goods and secure transport space, in the latest example of supply chain hurdles.
The move was taken in the past quarter with GWA, maker of Caroma toilets and Clark kitchen sinks, hiring two vessels with a few other companies.
