Sanjeev Gupta’s last best asset faces a Ben Brazil-shaped problem

Sanjeev Gupta could be forced out his last remaining profitable business, InfraBuild, after a private equity firm run by former Macquarie dealmaker Ben Brazil sued the British industrialist demanding he immediately repay more than $800 million.

If successful, the suit would almost certainly cause the collapse of InfraBuild, the sprawling steel manufacturer and most significant asset in Gupta’s GFG Alliance.
