These hugely popular canned drinks have sent Orora shares soaring
Can and bottle maker Orora is benefiting from a big shift in consumer preferences for “slim and sleek” cans in alcoholic seltzers, pre-mixed spirits and craft beers that are lighter and more convenient for Millennials and Generation Z.
Orora chief executive Brian Lowe said can volumes had increased by more than 10 per cent in the six months to the end of December and the company was investing heavily in plant expansions to keep up with demand.
