New Forests to double Asian assets after securing $165m for new fund

Privately owned plantation land manager New Forests will nearly double its sustainable forestry plantations in south-east Asia after it secured $US120 million ($164.6 million) of capital for its latest fund.
Asia has the world’s fastest-growing demand for wood products, but has seen development of sustainable plantations curtailed by a lack of investment.
