Suburban Rail Loop to progress ‘regardless of federal funding’

Mr Pearson, speaking to AFR Weekend as Jacinta Allan notched up her 100th day as Victorian premier on Friday, said calls by independent economists and the Grattan Institute to pause the major project as the government faced rising construction costs and a net debt of $177.8 billion by June 2027, were “ill-informed”.
