Scott Charlton exits Transurban as traffic snarls WestConnex

Traffic snarls around Transurban’s longest toll road, Sydney’s 33-kilometre WestConnex, have marked Scott Charlton’s final day at the company after the opening of a key motorway interchange brought cars and buses to a standstill.

Mr Charlton, who stepped down as chief executive after Transurban’s annual general meeting in mid-October and left the tollroad group on Thursday, joins Sydney Airport on Monday.
