Former Leighton executive David Savage appears in Sydney court
Former Leighton Holdings executive David Savage has returned from France to attend court hearings in Sydney as prosecutors try to prove they have enough evidence to bring a criminal case to trial.
Mr Savage, who worked for Leighton (the construction group now known as CIMIC) between 1998 and 2011, was arrested by the Australian Federal Police in January 2021 and charged with two counts of giving false or misleading information to the company’s directors.
