15,000 sign up for Transurban toll fee class action

Almost 15,000 people have joined a class action lawsuit against Transurban in Queensland that says the tollroad group has unjustly made money by charging unreasonable and excessive administration fees for the late payment of toll fares.

Hearing dates for the class action, filed in Queensland's Supreme Court in August by Hilton Bradley Lawyers on behalf of security group Adeva Home Solutions, are expected to be listed within the next month.
