For a contractor looking to keep working at a bank, Anthony Knight was taking the nuclear option: suing the chief executive over an office vaccine mandate.

Mr Knight, an information technology specialist – a solutions architect with almost 25 years finance sector experience – had worked for Bank of Queensland since 2019 and now sought an exemption to the requirement that workers coming on site have a COVID-19 vaccine.
