Bank of Queensland chief executive George Frazis says he has the backing of the company’s directors, after copping a rare public admonishment from the lender’s chairman in March.

“The board and I are totally aligned with what’s really important, and that’s what we’re focused on,” Mr Frazis told The Australian Financial Review.
