The $327 million buyout proposal by private equity firm Crescent Capital for dentistry group Pacific Smiles has been voted down by shareholders, with kingmaker Dr Alex Abrahams among those rejecting it.
Dr Alex Abrahams voted against the NDC/Crescent Capital buyout of Pacific Smiles, and that was enough to kill the deal after Genesis Capital also voted its 19.9 per cent stake against it.
